- Eat reasonable portions, which is often eating less than you are served, especially when eating out.
- Make eating vegetables enjoyable. Try roasting and grilling veggies.
- Try one meatless meal per week.
- Replace sweetened beverages with unsweetened options. Try sparkling water or unsweetened tea with fresh lemon, lime, or berries for added flavor.
- Put down the salt shaker. Use pepper, flavored vinegars, or fresh lemon for added seasoning.
